RH yet again had a very successful trip to Port au Prince working with We Advance in Citi Soleil. Volunteers worked diligently for five days of free clinic in the poorest city in the Western Hemisphere. We appreciate all the time, efforts, and spirit all our volunteers and funders provide to continue the success of RH mission.
1/12/11 Today is the one year anniversary of the devastating earthquake that greatly affected Haiti. It is amazing to think it has been one year. The January Clinic was put on hold due to the unstable political riots in Port au Prince at this time. RH will be teaming up with WeAdvance in February and will be holding clinic in Citi Soleil.
12/3/10 The RH team made it back safe and sound after their adventure in Haiti responding to the Cholera outbreak. They were flow via the United Nations' Helicoptor to Port au Paix in Northern Haiti where they were the only medical team for over 130 patients. Lives were saved. They also then responded to need in Port au Prince.
