Raising Haiti's mission is to help improve the social, educational, and medical conditions of the people of Haiti.
"The fundamental conditions and resources for health are: peace, shelter, education, food, income, a stable eco-system, sustainable resources, social justice and equality" World Health Organization
Such fundamental conditions are lacking in Haiti. Raising Haiti works within the systems already in place in Haiti, ensuring that every person has access to basic needs such as health care, food, education, and peace.
We believe strongly in one global community, and will continue to work with our Haitian friends until we see our goal to fruition.
